Palmyra has gone 8-2 against Carlisle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bison at 4:15 p.m. Palmyra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
Palmyra will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Bishop McDevitt on Tuesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Crusaders. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Logan Kriner looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aiden Willard, who fired off two home runs, four RBI, and one stolen base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Julian Meley was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles.
Palmyra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop McDevitt only managed four.
Meanwhile, Carlisle lost 16-4 to Gettysburg on Tuesday. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Carlisle saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradyn Sober, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another was Ryan Black, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Palmyra, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.
Everything went Palmyra's way against Carlisle in their previous matchup back in March, as Palmyra made off with a 17-4 win. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
