On Monday, St. Joseph Academy strolled past West Hills with points to spare, taking the game 40-25.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luciana Aguilar, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. The game was Aguilar's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Angie Beath was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
The win got St. Joseph Academy back to even at 2-2. As for West Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Academy will take on Ramona at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
