In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Escondido Charter made off with a 58-57 victory over Santa Fe Christian. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 22 to 15 on the offensive boards, as Escondido Charter did.
Kami Gillis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noelle Champagne, who scored ten points along with five assists and three steals.
Orange Glen's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Escondido Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.
