Buddy Wilson Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Piketon got the W thanks in part to Buddy Wilson playing the best football he has all season. Wilson rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Wilson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Westfall on Friday. Wilson rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Stewart Made His Presence Known in Zane Trace's 48-12 Win
Silas Stewart was a major factor in Zane Trace's win over Southeastern on Friday. Stewart was unstoppable, rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Southeastern had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Stewart it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stewart saw the Panthers), he picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Cody Braden and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Cody Braden's big game helped extend Unioto's winning streak to seven on Friday. Braden was dynamite, making a tackle.
Unioto's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Braden and Unioto will welcome Southeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The second Zane Trace player making an appearance here is Peyton Dotson, and for good reason. He picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Unioto Gets a Boost from Coy in 43-0 Win
Isaac Coy's big game helped extend Unioto's winning streak to seven on Friday. Coy turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 35 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 150 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
For the year, Coy has thrown 22 touchdowns while averaging 217.4 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he had two passing touchdowns.
