Softball Recap: Southmoore Wins Going Away Against Muskogee

After only one run in their last contest, Southmoore made sure to put some runs up on the board against Muskogee on Monday. The SaberCats put the hurt on the Roughers with a sharp 12-2 win. The SaberCats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Southmoore's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Muskogee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southmoore will square off against rival Jenks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Muskogee is set to challenge their familiar foe Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
