Sequoyah won against Jay on Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Eagles never let the Heavener Wolves get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Eagles not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 11-0).

Sequoyah is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Heavener, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Sequoyah will square off against Chelsea at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heavener, they will challenge the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sequoyah's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
