If the Oaks Christian Lions were feeling good off their 55-30 takedown of the Agoura Chargers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Oaks Christian's rough 63-37 loss to Calabasas on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Oaks Christian has suffered since December 9, 2023.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jae Bradley, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Andrea Woodward was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Oaks Christian bumped their record down to 6-14 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Calabasas, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oaks Christian will challenge Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westlake will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Calabasas, they will head out on the road to square off against Agoura at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Agoura will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 969th, while Calabasas is ranked 306th).
