The Edison Tigers came tearing into  Saturday's  match with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down Chowchilla 46-30. Given Edison's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 383rd, while Chowchilla is ranked 935th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Edison to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Aireanna Jennings, who  scored 14 points along with 7  rebounds and 3  steals.  Nikayla Ashley-Chandler was another key contributor,  scoring 9 points along with 9  steals.
 Edison has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Chowchilla,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-7.
 Edison will be playing at home against Immanuel at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Immanuel is coming into the  match on a three-game losing streak. As for Chowchilla, they will head out on the road to face off against Le Grand at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
