Carter Hajek Delivers Best Performance of Season
Nemaha Central was led to victory by Carter Hajek, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hajek's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (409).
Hajek must have Royal Valley's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Hajek rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Cael Frazier Turns in Season-Best Performance
Cael Frazier produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Holton to the win on Friday. Frazier made 18 total tackles. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (102) he has had since back in October of 2023.
Holton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Frazier's next game is against Leavenworth on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Holton was led to victory by Kyler Jackson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jackson rushed for 188 yards while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Hiawatha's probably not too fond of Jackson given he always seems to get the better of them. When Jackson last faced the Red Hawks back in September of 2023, he rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Korban Wilson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Holton to the win on Friday. Wilson rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Horak Posts Huge Game in 28-0 Victory
Tayson Horak's big game helped extend Rossville's winning streak to four on Friday. Horak turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 119 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles and defending three passes.
On the year, Horak has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 121.2 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 3.33 passing yards per game.
