Football Recap: Mcdonogh Wins High-Profile Matchup Against St. Anthony's

McDonogh is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of St. Anthony. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy 38-21 win over the Friars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

McDonogh's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braeden Palazzo, who threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Palazzo has posted since back in October of 2024. Mason Graham helped Palazzo out on the ground, rushing for 122 yards and a pair of TDs.

McDonogh's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
