Jolene Sharpe was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with seven steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Mae Struna, who scored 12 points.
Pymatuning Valley pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Mathews, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pymatuning Valley will take on Grand Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Grand Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Mathews, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lakeview at 1:00 p.m. Lakeview has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
