Mt. Pleasant came into Tuesday's matchup having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the West Burlington Falcons with a sharp 17-10 victory on Tuesday. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since June 7th (when they won 19-1).

Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 6-25. As for West Burlington, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-15.

Mt. Pleasant has already played their next game, a 14-2 loss against Davis County on the 2nd. As for West Burlington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mid-Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Golden Hawks at the right time seeing as the Golden Hawks are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
