Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is East Union's Fourth in Last Five Outings

East Union won the last time they faced Oakdale, and Haven Stone did her part to make sure it happened again. The East Union Lancers simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Oakdale Mustangs 56-26 thanks in part to Stone, who posted 18 points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

East Union is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Oakdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

East Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-41 defeat against Mountain House on the 4th. As for Oakdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-38 loss against Manteca on the 4th.
