Mira Loma is 0-10 against the Rams since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mira Loma Matadors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dixon Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Mira Loma was able to grind out a solid win over the Rams, taking the game 35-27. The win was just what Mira Loma needed coming off of a 54-28 defeat in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Allison Canafe, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Demi Tawadrous, who scored two points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Dixon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Casa Roble 62-20 on the road. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for Dixon this season.
Mira Loma's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Dixon, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season.
