The Northview Titans will square off against the Mountain View Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Northview put up the most runs they have all season on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over Lithonia. The Titans have beaten the Bulldogs the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.
Northview got a massive performance out of Graham Forney, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI Forney has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaias Toro Rivas, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Northview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Mountain View earned an 11-7 victory over St. Pius X Catholic on Tuesday. With that win, the Bears brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Braeden Kearse looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, Sean Forbes was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Mountain View: the team is undefeated when he posts at least one home run, but 6-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Carson Ronpirin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.
Northview's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Mountain View, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
