Moorpark was led to victory by Maya Urteaga and Billie Yanez. Urteaga went 10 for 24 on her way to 25 points and four steals, while Yanez dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Urteaga has scored at least a third of Moorpark's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Olivas, who posted ten points and five rebounds.
Moorpark smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dominguez only pulled down four offensive boards.

Moorpark's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 14-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorpark will head out to challenge Camarillo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camarillo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for Dominguez, they will square off against Norwalk at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
