 Torrey Pines' victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one  goal over those three  contests. Del Norte's  draw gives them a new season record of 4-6-4.
 Del Norte beat Torrey Pines by a goal  in their previous meeting  back in December of 2021, winning  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Del Norte since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
