The St. Anthony Saints will square off against the Claremont Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
St. Anthony waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They breezed by La Salle on the road to the tune of 58-20. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-10.
Ryann Bennett continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadence Lloyd, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Claremont posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 67-13 win over Alta Loma at home. The team ran away with 55 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
St. Anthony has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. As for Claremont, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7.
