Mayfield won the last time they faced Rio Grande and Ceanna McKines did her part to make sure it happened again. The Trojans walked away with a 47-36 victory over the Ravens on Saturday thanks in part to McKines, who posted 17 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Her afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points.

The win got Mayfield back to even at 2-2. As for Rio Grande, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mayfield will head out to square off against St. Pius X at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rio Grande, they will square off against Volcano Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
