After having lost a blowout in their previous game against El Rancho, the Wilson Mules were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They blew past Roosevelt 57-36. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Wilson's 23-point performance the game before.
Wilson was led to victory by Alana G and Dailyn M. G scored 19 points, while M scored 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which M has scored at least 25% of Wilson's points. Another player making a difference was Emily M, who scored 6 points.
Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st. Legacy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to face off against Huntington Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
