Last Friday, Deer Valley took a serious blow against the Lions, falling 72-18. Deer Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-10.
Meanwhile, Antioch's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 47-38 to Freedom.
Deer Valley dropped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Antioch, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-13.
Deer Valley took a serious blow against the Panthers when the teams last played back in January, falling 81-42. Can Deer Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
