The Northeastern Bobcats put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Kennard-Dale as Northeastern made off with a 59-37 victory. Northeastern has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northeastern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colleen Finnegan, who scored 16 points. Finnegan's trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Lauralye Kennedy, who scored 11 points.
Northeastern's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-0. As for Kennard-Dale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeastern will face off against York Suburban at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (York Suburban is ranked 34th, while Northeastern is ranked 40th). As for Kennard-Dale, they will head out on the road to challenge Dover at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
