Sleepy Eye will challenge New Ulm Cathedral on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Sleepy Eye is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
The match between Sleepy Eye and Minneota last week was not a total blowout, but with Sleepy Eye falling 8-23, it was darn close.
Meanwhile, New Ulm Cathedral couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They and Lakeview were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 33-34 loss.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
