Jake Koehler made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Brock Sell and Myles Apalit did most of the damage at the plate: Sell scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Apalit scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
