The Bishop Union Broncos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Desert 66-45. Considering Bishop Union has won five matches by more than 20 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Bishop Union was led to victory by Henny Charley and Kristin Allen . Charley scored 13 points, while Allen scored 15 points. Tannyr Ludwick was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Bishop Union's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-6. As for Desert, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Union will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against California City at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. California City comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Desert, they will head out on the road to face off against Mammoth at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mammoth is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
