Afalava is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Heiress Afalava was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.
San Pasqual Academy's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Coastal Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Pasqual Academy will take on the RoadRunners at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Calexico Mission is ranked 1376th, while the Dragons are ranked 1359th). As for Coastal Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hawks at 4:30 p.m.
