Sangre de Cristo won the last time they faced Moffat and things went their way on Friday too. The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Moffat Cowboys 64-23. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 34 points or more this season.

Moffat's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Chase Shellabarger, who posted six points and ten rebounds, and Preston Heater, who had 13 points and six boards. That was a full 56.5% of Moffat's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Sangre de Cristo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Moffat, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
