After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shattuck, Turpin was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Guymon Tigers as they made off with an 11-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Turpin's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Guymon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Turpin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against Shattuck on the 23rd. Guymon has also already played their next game (against Southeast Colorado), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
