The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gunderson 58-18 at home. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for Mt. Pleasant as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
 It was another big night for  Snowe DeLeon, who  scored 32 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Destinee Townes, who  scored eight points.
 Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Gunderson, their defeat  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 4-4.
 Mt. Pleasant will head out on the road to  square off against  Yerba Buena at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Yerba Buena comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last four games, a trend the  team is of course eager to reverse. As for Gunderson, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Overfelt at 7:00  p.m. Overfelt is hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses.
