Gunderson won the last time they faced James Lick and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Grizzlies came out on top against the Comets by a score of 6-3.

Jordan Avila spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up 15 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on JD Murillo, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Brandon Salgado, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one triple.

Gunderson's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for James Lick, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Gunderson beat the Comets by a score of 8-2 on Thursday.
