The West Park Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. Their tough 71-48 loss to Lincoln might stick with them for a while. West Park has struggled against Lincoln recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why West Park lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jill Ngo. Despite the final result, she scored 24 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lynae White, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maya Hodge, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isa Keidel, who scored 19 points.
West Park has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
