Despite the loss, West Tallahatchie saw an underclassman step up: Kydresha Washington scored eight points.
Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for West Tallahatchie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Palmer will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ingomar at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. West Tallahatchie and Coahoma County will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Coahoma County is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
