The Palmer Dragons basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting West Tallahatchie Choctaws to 24 in the Dragons non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Dragons now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ingomar for a 2A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 5.

The Choctaws (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS). The Red Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Coahoma County was nudged by Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 34-30, in a non-league contest.
