Wetzel's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Carlson, who picked up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Flagstaff wouldn't let Copper Canyon keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Ethan Suda, Tuffy Callander, Garrett Degraff, and Wyatt Ramsgate picked up one apiece.
Mingus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Flagstaff, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
