The Acalanes Dons have not lost a match since January 9th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They never let Ygnacio Valley onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. For Acalanes, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 defeat Ygnacio Valley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Acalanes was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Colby Ebner and
Niko White, who scored all three of Acalanes' goals. The pair have combined for a total of 14 so far this season.
Acalanes' win bumped their record up to 8-3-5. As for Ygnacio Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-2.
Acalanes will head out on the road to face off against Northgate at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ygnacio Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Campolindo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ygnacio Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
