Maize's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Brayden Myovela, who threw for 140 yards and four  TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing.  Demarye Smith helped  Myovela out on the ground, rushing for 74 yards and a pair of  scores on only seven carries.
 Maize's run defense was locked in: North could only muster 0.3 yards per carry. The team can thank  Myles Dawson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Maize didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 15.5.
 Maize didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Hunter Bird and  Brodie Jep Jarvis. Jep Jarvis has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  interception the last three times he's  played.  Atticus Marcenaro was another major factor on D,  picking up  a  sack, forcing one fumble,  and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
