Highlands posted their closest win since August 15th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the McCollum Cowboys 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

Highlands had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 26-24.

Highlands has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for McCollum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
