It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ware County had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Druid Hills Red Devils 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ware County and bumps their season record up to 25-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Druid Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-12.

Coming up, Ware County will venture away from home to take on North Oconee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Gators surely won't give up without a fight. Druid Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
