Baseball Game Preview: Burbank Titans vs. Johnson Warriors

For the second straight game, Burbank will face off against Johnson. Burbank will head out to square off against Johnson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Burbank's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Johnson with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Titans have won four games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kevion Duplessis was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. He has become a key player for Burbank: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesus Cruz, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Burbank always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Johnson dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Burbank, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-6.
