Keira Caparas was a one-man wrecking crew for Arrowhead Christian as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Caparas scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Medina, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Woodcrest Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Arrowhead Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodcrest Christian will take on Loma Linda Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Loma Linda Academy's defense has only allowed 20.9 points per game this season, so Woodcrest Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Arrowhead Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Aquinas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday.
