The Harwood Highlanders will face off against the Randolph Ghosts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Harwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Lake Region 13-6 on Tuesday. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ryan Lacey was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Lacey was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game.
In other batting news, Graycen Van Solkema was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jack Lacey, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Meanwhile, Randolph won against U-32 on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Ghosts beat Hazen by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-2.
Like Harwood, Randolph also got a great game from a two-way player: Dylan Delaney. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Delaney was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Randolph's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tanner Langlois, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season. Drew Langlois was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Randolph's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Harwood, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything went Harwood's way against Randolph in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Harwood made off with a 13-3 win. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Ghosts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
