Camarillo won the last time they faced Burroughs and things went their way on Saturday too. The Camarillo Scorpions blew past the Burroughs Bears 52-19. The Scorpions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Camarillo's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christa Contreras, who posted 11 points along with six assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emerson Martin, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Burroughs lost, don't look at Elizabeth Amoroso. Despite the final result, she earned six points.

Camarillo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
