After only two runs in their last match, Buford made sure to put some runs up on the board against Discovery on Monday. Buford was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Discovery. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Buford has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. Discovery is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
