 The  victory  got St. Lucy's back to even at 1-1. As for La Puente,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
 St. Lucy's won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against South El Monte  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. St. Lucy's is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for La Puente, they and Calvary Baptist will face off  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
