It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hamilton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Westview Wolverines by a score of 45-42 on Tuesday. The Yankees' loss signaled the end of their 19-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Hamilton lost, don't look at Jade Fort. Despite the final result, she posted 24 points and five boards. The game was Fort's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Micah Lemons, who earned five points and 11 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Hamilton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 27-2. As for Westview, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westview, they will head out to square off against Brentwood School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westview will be up against Brentwood School's rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.79 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
