Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Imhotep Charter walked away with it. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-25 win over the Pequea Valley Braves. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Imhotep Charter had a senior duo take command as Calista Gaymon shot 63% from the field on her way to 13 points and four steals and Anise Geiger went 6-for-8 to rack up 12 points and eight rebounds. That's the most steals Gaymon has posted since back in January of 2024. Geren Hawthorne was another key player, putting up seven points and 11 boards.

Imhotep Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Imhotep Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. Pequea Valley's loss dropped their record down to 20-3.

Imhotep Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-46 defeat against Loyalsock Township on the 21st. Pequea Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
