Sherman Oaks CES waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Canoga Park Hunters. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 win the Hunters walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.
Nicholas Bilicic was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 1-for-3.
In other pitching news, Garrett Arch looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
