Massabesic took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Falmouth, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Navigators 7-5. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won three contests in a row.
Nolan Pomerleau was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Merrifield, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
