Meadowbrook Christian can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 48-21 victory over Belleville Mennonite. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-8.
Meadowbrook Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kailey Devlin out in front who scored nine points along with six steals and five assists. Devlin has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alayna Smith, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
While North Penn-Liberty couldn't quite beat North Penn-Mansfield on Wednesday, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 39-point defeat they were dealt on Monday. North Penn-Liberty fell just short of North Penn-Mansfield by a score of 24-21. North Penn-Liberty has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meadowbrook Christian's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for North Penn-Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Meadowbrook Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over North Penn-Liberty in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 37-25. Will Meadowbrook Christian repeat their success, or does North Penn-Liberty have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
