If the Ocosta Wildcats were riding high off their 62-30 takedown of the North Beach Hyaks last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ocosta took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pe Ell. The game was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Ocosta was outscored by Pe Ell in the second.
Ocosta's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Alexia Bradley and Anna Davis. Bradley scored 17 points along with nine rebounds, while Davis dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Davis is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Ocosta's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Pe Ell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ocosta will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pe Ell, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Firm Foundation Christian at 5:45 p.m. on January 23rd.
